Job Responsibilities:
-Plan, design, execute and analyze more complex market research studies
-Write reports and recommendations so that senior managers have accurate and timely information to evaluate strategies and make decisions regarding the organization’s business objectives
-Collect, compile, verify, and analyze information from internal and external sources (for example, market, demographic, economic, and other financial data) in order to develop recommendations about the implications of alternative sales, marketing, and business development strategies
-Maintain a database of market and competitor data as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for market studies
Job Requirements:
-The role is data and analytically intensive. The successful candidate will be able to: identify and resolve problems, analyze raw data, develop reccommendations.
-Strong business sense and superior analytical skills with the ability to understand business problems and develop innovative solutions
-Strong communication skills and experience in presenting complex quantitative analysis.
-Exceptional written and oral communication abilities in English, good command of Chinese is preferable
-Bachelors or advanced degree in statistics, business, mathematics, or related field in science or social science
-Proven capability as self starter, independent researcher and an appreciation for team-work
-Financial industry/sector experience and proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as SAS or SPSS are preferable but not required
